Your new job: Senior Data Solutions Consultant | Pre-Sales | Demos | Story-telling

As a Senior Data Solutions Consultant you will help provide a technically excellent, yet value focused pre-sales support resource for the sales teams and customers. You will utilize technology & digital marketing expertise to support the sales efforts by positioning the cloud based, SaaS solutions. This will require translating the technical merits of the solution into value for clients.

This is a Singapore based replacement role, for a team member who had been with the team for several years. The remit is for the Southeast Asian region, working very closely with the Singapore based SEA Sales team. Though you will report to the Vice President based in Australia & collaborate with a Hong Kong based counterpart.

As a Senior Data Solutions Consultant, you will be pivotal in influencing leading brands to maximise value of their data & help digital transformation. So you will need to bring creativity, innovation, a deeply curious mind & enthusiasm to become a stand-out Presales Consultant expert in the region.

  • Create & deliver customized product demonstrations (PoC's) for prospects, customers, & partners
  • Enhance pre-sales demonstration materials & environments
  • Provide product/service advice & technical guidance to sales representatives, partners, and prospects
  • Act as customer advocates post sales in engineering & services engagements
  • Participate in the completion of RFPs and/or RFIs
  • Development of formal sales plans and proposals for opportunities
  • Work with marketing team on lead generation activities e.g. webinars, blog content, events etc
  • Contribute field knowledge & feedback to direct future product requirements/enhancements
  • Be a story-teller!

What do we need from you:

As the new Senior Data Solutions Consultant you will bring:

  • Sales Engineer / Implementation Engineer experience for enterprise SaaS product(s).
  • Ability to Assess customer requirements, Identify business problems, & Demonstrate proposed solutions
  • Strong Presentation, Story-telling, & Communication skills
  • Experience that demonstrates technical proficiency & digital marketing knowledge
  • Understanding of sales process, cycles & methodologies.
  • Experience with one or more Digital solutions: Web Analytics, Search Engine Marketing, Display Marketing, Email Service Providers, Data Management Platforms, Demand or Supply Side Platforms, Digital Exchanges, Content Management Systems, Mobile Analytics, Ad Serving, Content Optimization (Multi-Variant) Testing

What would set you apart:

  • Experience with Digital Marketing Vendor Installation, Management & Troubleshooting
  • Thorough understanding of JavaScript “Tags” – event handling / JSON
  • Familiarity with Structured & Unstructured Data concepts
  • Knowledge of Data Infrastructure – Hadoop, NoSQL, Spark, and Message Queues
  • Profiency in Web TechnologiesAJAX, jQuery, HTML
  • Exposure Mobile & platform apps: iOS, Android, Blackberry & emerging web tech
  • Insight intp Web Development Tools: REST, SOAP & other APIs formats
