Your New Role: VP of Media Agency Sales
The VP of Media Agency Sales will need extensive experience in sales or account servicing within the media agency industry. They will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with agencies to identify new advertising revenue streams. This role involves working closely with the agency's investment, planning, strategy, creative, and digital leads to develop strategies that deliver on client goals using the full range of the company's capabilities and assets.
This will also involve collaborating with internal stakeholders from Commercial, Digital, and Marketing teams to develop RFP strategies and responses to briefs. They will review clients’ advertising plans with the Business Unit Head and Account Manager, review fulfillments done by the account servicing team, and ensure that a high level of agency performance is achieved on behalf of clients.
In addition to these responsibilities, the VP of Media Agency Sales will proactively recommend strategies to the company's top management to better engage and grow revenue from media agencies. They will be responsible for discovering creative solutions to day-to-day portfolio level challenges and creating new portfolio level opportunities. This includes creating presentation materials and delivering them for internal and external meetings. With a strong entrepreneurial spirit, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure, the VP of Media Agency Sales will play a vital role in driving revenue growth for the company.
What we need from you:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the media agency industry
- Possesses a vast network and contacts in the media agency industry
- Proven ability to network and engage with clients to build strong relationships
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a sharp business acumen
- Entrepreneurial mindset with exceptional communication skills and ability to handle pressure
- Strong understanding of performance measurement in agencies, including relevant KPIs
- Familiarity with agency evaluation of vendors and partners.
