CRO specialist (Remote)
- Do you want to work in a mature CRO environment where experimentation is truly part of the growth strategy?
- Do you get energy from translating data and customer insights into hypotheses that have direct impact?
- Do you want not only to run tests, but also think about why users show certain behaviours?
- Are you looking for a role where you are given a lot of ownership within an ambitious experimentation team?
Then this role as CRO Specialist might be interesting for you.
About the organization: EdTech platform
Our client is an international player in the EdTech sector with a digital platform that enables millions of users to learn every day. The organization combines technology, education, and data to create an optimal learning experience.
Within the company, continuous improvement of the digital customer journey is central. Data and experimentation play a key role in this: decisions are driven by insights from user behaviour and learnings from experiments.
Together with two other CRO specialists, you are responsible within the product team for the CRO process. Using modern tooling, automated reporting, and a strong focus on impact, new experiments are continuously set up and improvements are implemented.
The role: CRO Specialist
As a CRO Specialist, you play a key role within a mature testing environment where optimization has been part of the growth strategy for years.
The focus of the role is translating data and user behaviour into strong, well-founded experiment hypotheses. You identify opportunities in the funnel and try to understand what drives users in their journey towards a trial or conversion.
In this role, you are not responsible for the technical execution of A/B tests. Instead, the emphasis is on ideating, prioritizing, and developing experiment ideas that are picked up within an existing experimentation flow. Think of on-page optimizations, funnel improvements, and multivariate tests within a release cycle of 1 to 6 weeks.
As mentioned, you will be working in an environment where high-velocity testing is the norm and where multiple experiments run in parallel. Every week, several new ideas are developed and tested, with a focus on business impact and learning speed rather than small incremental UI changes.
The role is data-first: you use dashboards and user data to identify patterns, validate hypotheses, and inform experiments. In addition, you are expected to clearly present ideas to Product and Design, often visually (for example in Figma), to bring stakeholders along in the reasoning behind an experiment. The end goal: producing winning tests.
What we need from you:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in CRO, experimentation, growth, or a similar data-driven environment
- Experience in setting up and analyzing A/B tests
- Strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience in formulating hypotheses and experiment strategies
- Experience with analytics, testing, and dashboarding tools
- Proactive attitude and a drive to take ownership
What you get in return:
- Gross annual salary up to €65K including holiday allowance, based on a 40-hour work week (depending on experience)
- Remote-first organization, home office budget. Work from anywhere within the EU.
- 32–40 hour work week
- Urban Sports Club membership
- 1 week per year working from Berlin and various team meetups throughout the year
- An international organization with short communication lines and an informal culture
