Tech SEO Manager | Shape the Global SEO Foundation | €90K | Hybrid | Retail/E-commerce | South Holland

Do you want to…

  • Lay the technical foundation for SEO across Europe’s biggest consumer electronics retailer?
  • Be the first Tech SEO Manager in a fast-growing international SEO team and define how technical SEO is structured and scaled across markets?
  • Work cross-functionally with development, product owners, content and international marketing teams to integrate SEO into systems, processes, and platforms?
  • Not just deliver audits and insights, but actually drive implementation in a complex, multinational setup?

Your new employer: Europe’s #1 consumer electronics powerhouse

This international retail organization has been a household name in consumer electronics for decades. What started as a single store has grown into an omnichannel leader with hundreds of locations across Europe and a rapidly expanding e-commerce presence. From smartphones to washing machines, from gaming to smart home solutions — customers rely on this brand for all things tech.

With a powerful physical retail network and a smart digital ecosystem, this company is uniquely positioned. The focus is on usability, availability, and offering the right products at the right time, both online and in-store. Innovation is key, as is making technology accessible to everyone.

Now, with digital playing an even bigger role, SEO has been recognized as a strategic growth lever. The company is investing in a centralized international SEO team and you’ll help shape the technical backbone from the start.

The role: Tech SEO Manager who goes deep and keeps the overview

As the first Tech SEO Manager in the international SEO team, you’ll take full ownership of technical SEO across multiple European markets. You’ll be responsible for scalable improvements in crawlability, indexation, structured data, mobile performance, Core Web Vitals, site speed, and more.

You’ll work closely with development, product owners, marketers, and local teams to ensure SEO is not just advised, but embedded in how the organization operates. You’ll run audits, interpret findings, and work with dev teams to get things implemented.

You’ll also build the technical framework for international SEO: from tooling and dashboards to documentation, guidelines and scalable systems. Together with the SEO Manager, you’ll form the strategic duo at the heart of this growing team.

What do we need from you?

  • 5+ years of experience in technical SEO, preferably in an international or large-scale e-commerce environment
  • Deep knowledge of crawl budgets, indexation, site architecture, structured data, JavaScript SEO, Core Web Vitals and mobile-first indexing
  • Skilled with tools like Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl/Botify, Google Search Console, log file analyzers, Lighthouse, BigQuery or similar
  • Comfortable working closely with developers and product teams to ensure implementation of technical SEO fixes
  • Strong communicator who can turn technical SEO into clear action plans for stakeholders
  • Experience in CMS migrations, CI/CD pipelines, and Jira or equivalent project management tools is a plus
  • Fluent in English; other European languages are a bonus

What’s in it for you?

  • Annual salary of up to €90,000 (based on 40 hours, incl. holiday allowance)
  • 30 vacation days
  • Hybrid working: approx. 3 days in office, 2 days remote
  • Laptop and phone provided
  • Excellent pension plan
  • International environment with colleagues from all over Europe
  • Strategic ownership and freedom to build something meaningful from the ground up
