Your new job: Lead Program Manager – Customer Experience

In this position you will act as the “De facto Head of AML compliance” and play a key role in the continuous improvement of EMEA-wide Operations and Customer Experience. As such, you will be the one to make the call in what directions the team needs to go and ensure the people and tech are in place to reach set goals. This will be co-achieved through the management of various projects related to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money Laundering (AML) as part of a newly established team dedicated to customer identity and safety on the platform.

The projects themselves will have a wide range, spanning from product and tool rollouts, policy or operational changes in order to achieve or maintain compliance and creation of governance models. This will be done in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, with large part being those of the Operations, Product and Compliance teams while maintaining a customer centric view at all times. Your analytical proficiency will be an important factor as you spar with data teams on current standings and make data-driven decisions on what needs to be done next. This data driven mindset will also be relevant in situations where you might not even have all data and have to rely on creative problem solving and experience to guide you.

Aside from the projects you will be responsible for managing a team of multiple (4+) talented junior program specialists. You will be coaching them in their operations and enabling them in their personal development and impact on the business. You yourself will be reporting directly to the Head of Risk and Payments. All this will be done in a fast-paced environment where not al relations or processes are set in stone.

What do we need from you: 

As the latest and greatest Lead Program Manager (Location Amsterdam), we need the following from you:

  • 6+ years of experience strategic program management, preferable with a hands-on track record
  • Understanding of the KYC/AML domain is a very big plus
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision making skills
  • Strong team- and stakehodler management skills
  • The ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability articulate complex processes in a structured manner
