Your new Employer: The international SaaS scale-up with focus on breaking ground into new markets! 

This particular organisation has been around for over 10 years and Is built up of over 70 colleagues. They contribute on a global scale to events such as Ultra, Euro Songfestival, Mojo, Lowlands, the list goes on. They operate in over 15 countries, but enable events and festivals in over 70 countries as a result of their efforts!

Their product is fully geared towards the event industry. With their platform they enable large scale production coordination, crew allocation management, Supply management and their own CRM. As it stands, this organisation has the ambition to further develop and expand their platform. The goal is to enable their platform to provide value to new markets that they are not yet servicing!

Aside from the international focus of their services, this organisation also has a multicultural team of over 15 different backgrounds and nationalities. Their headquarters are located in Utrecht, but they have 2 more offices overseas. 

With an average age of around 30 years the team is built up out of young, yet hard working professionals who are also keen on having fun! After a day’s worth of working in a breathtakingly unique office you’ll either have the option to celebrate the weekend at the in-house bar, or sing your heart out at the downstairs karaoke lounge!

Your new job: Product Owner SaaS – Enabling this international scale-up to venture into new territories

In this situation, the platform is divided into 3 main components (production, resources and crew) that together provide the service that has been able to make a pretty much global impact. With 2 other Product Owners in the team responsible for 2 of the aforementioned modules, you would be taking charge of the component that is all about the crew.

The pursuit of further developments in this case comes with a lot of freedom and the ability to really leave your mark. As specialist, the company places a great amount of trust in your abilities to define the way that works best. With this, they also encourage you to chase your own vision and experiment with promising ideas, without fear of “failure”. Trying and failing is seen as a natural part of the process, as long as you learn from it of course 😉.

Aside from your 2 fellow Product Owners and a Product Manager, you can count on the effort of 8 developers of various specialisations in your dedicated Scrum team. Some of whom are working from the office in Utrecht, others from regions as Sri Lanka.

What do we need from you?

  • About 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner
  • Strong proficiency in Product Discovery
  • Experience within the SaaS domain
  • A proven ability to explore innovative ideas and inspire the team!

  • A base salary of up to 5.400 per month based on 40 hours, ex holiday allowance
