Your new role: Assistant Manager, Sales and Marketing | Product Marketing, New Market Building in FMCG | Korean Speaking
You will take charge of both Malaysia and Singapore market. Your responsibilities will include:
- To ensure the existing brands performance in the market are progressing via brand strategy and planning initiated by the distributors.
- Strong in analysing on the market trend, consumer buying behaviour, competitor activities, trade campaigns and more.
- To study the market condition and demand from the local market by sourcing new product line to be introduced to the local market and good negotiation skill to source for new business opportunity.
- To explore on new market opportunity by building network with distributors companies, chain stores, pharmacies, supermarkets, etc.
- To work closely with distributor to monitor on the brand activity and sales turnover for company household brands.
- To plan for marketing initiatives to promote the brand, to create awareness and to create household brand name not only limited to the trade market, also on the ecommerce business.
- Develop brand marketing plans and ensure the implementation of these plans are within the context of the agreed brand strategy and company’s goals
- Initiate period brand, sales and marketing reviews and initiate recommendations and action to ensure that the brand goals are met
- Monitor market and consumer trends, conduct analysis and make recommendations where appropriate
- Ensure that the implementation of various marketing programs are running efficiently and effectively
- Attend to all trade and consumer enquiries efficiently and appropriately
- Monitor competitors’ activities closely and make recommendations and initiate appropriate actions where necessary
What do we need from you?
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Marketing/Business Administration or any similar discipline
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a fast moving and ever changing consumer goods marketing environment.
- Korean proficiency (Can speak, read & write)
- Preference will be given to those with brand in management and product development experience in FMCG companies
- Strong conceptual skills and understanding of marketing planning and brand management
- Strong analytical skills
- Customer focused and with a good team working
