Are you ready to take on a leadership role that defines the success of the Content Publishing Team at a Global B2C Tech Giant based in Amsterdam?

We’re in search of a dynamic and motivated Content Publishing Team Lead to steer the digital team towards excellence.

In this position, you’ll guide and support the team, ensuring seamless integration into our client’s business operations, fostering a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship.

Your responsibilities as a Content Publishing Team Lead extend beyond traditional leadership roles. You’ll be the driving force behind proactive planning, ensuring the continuous success of the daily operations.

Managing individual team members and addressing their concerns will be a key aspect, with a commitment to fair and transparent performance reviews, efficient team leave management, and handling all personnel matters with diligence.

As a compassionate people leader, you’ll actively participate in recruitment processes, design thoughtful induction plans, and cultivate a positive team culture.

Your support will extend to Squad Leads, assisting in the management of workflows, capacity planning, weekly sprint delivery, process optimization, and effective communication with management.

In the face of challenges, you’ll serve as a daily problem-solver, handling escalations from the Content Publishing team calmly and offering proactive advice and support to ensure tasks are completed at the highest standard.

The focus on KPIs and performance targets, both individual and team-based, will be under your purview. You will report on results and encourage a culture of continuous improvement.

Beyond internal operations, your role will involve developing a trusted partnership with clients through service excellence, empathy, and a commitment to enhancing the capabilities of the Content Publishing team.

Are you ready for your next challenge?

What do we need from you?

As the new Content Publishing Team Lead in Amsterdam we need from you:

  • A BSc- of MSc-diploma in Marketing, Business of comparable;
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience at an account manager level, successfully leading a team of 10+ people;
  • Strong proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and MS Office suite;
  • Strong relationship builder and stakeholder management experience, both within your team/business and beyond;
  • Knowledge of a variety of people management methods and experience in their practical application;
  • Excellent English communicator both verbal and written.
  • Understanding of CMS’s, SAP Hybris, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Drupal, and other platforms are helpful but not required
  • Understanding of technology behind the delivery of digital marketing mix is advantageous
