Team and Office Environment

The digital team includes a range of marketing specialists, including experts in Marketplaces, Performance, Content, and Customer Journey—and then your team: E-commerce. The Role: E-commerce Manager
As the new E-commerce Manager, you will be responsible for establishing, managing, and executing the webshop strategy to achieve optimal revenue and profitability. This means you’ll be focused not only on the big picture—spending 70% of your time on long-term vision and growth opportunities—but also on day-to-day operations, sometimes rolling up your sleeves and diving into daily tasks. You’re the hub connecting different disciplines and stakeholders, using the webshop as a foundation for continuous improvement and aiming for an ambitious 20% growth in the coming year.
Growth Phase
E-commerce is currently in a growth phase: a new shop was recently launched, and the manual migration to this platform is complete, but there is still much work to do. The current foundation offers ample potential for expansion, both in market share and customer support. Therefore, the focus is not only on driving more traffic but also on guiding customers more effectively within the webshop, so they can easily find what they need, enhancing their overall experience.
Key Connector
You will work closely with two junior team members to create action points and a structured backlog, ensuring everything progresses smoothly and in line with priorities. Stakeholder management is essential; you’ll know exactly how to engage with your marketing colleagues to coordinate initiatives and make strategic decisions that contribute to shared goals.
You have an eye for technology and can act as a product owner with external development partners, managing new features, fixing bugs, and integrating systems like PIM and DAM. With a commercial mindset, you recognize opportunities within the e-commerce landscape and think strategically about how to leverage them for webshop growth.
Success
Success in this role means achieving growth targets, maintaining an optimal balance of priorities—even with a to-do list of hundreds of tasks—and demonstrating the ability to shift seamlessly between strategic and hands-on work. What You Bring:
- Approximately 5 years’ experience as an E-commerce Manager, Online Merchandising Team Lead, or E-commerce Project Manager
- Solid experience with Shopify (or other CMS) and Google Analytics
- A deep understanding of what it takes to make a webshop successful and who you need to engage in areas like online marketing (traffic generation, CRO, UX)
- Experience in a retail and international environment is a plus
- A commercial and proactive mindset is even better!
What You’ll Receive:
- Annual salary (incl. holiday allowance) up to €71K based on a 40-hour week, depending on experience
- Bonus scheme (8-10% on top of your annual salary, based on personal and company performance)
