As the Marketing Data and Finance Coordinator…
You’ll play a crucial role in supporting the Marketing function of this tech-giant. You’ll enjoy a unique vantage point with insight into marketing programs, enabling you to enhance ROI. Your responsibilities will encompass driving financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis initiatives, with a focus on key areas of Marketing Finance. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to refine and develop marketing finance processes, collaborating closely with a diverse team of marketing managers across the EMEA region. Your role will contribute to the company’s mission by defining and managing marketing finance systems and processes across various channels, teams, and verticals. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing operations, regional marketing, media, and finance to drive the systems and processes necessary for managing the complex marketing and finance work streams in our region.
What you’ll do:
- Business Partnerships: Collaborate closely with Marketing teams to develop financial forecasts, provide insights into financial performance, and streamline processes.
- Marketing Finance: Engage regularly with Marketing Operations, Marketing Finance, and Regional Marketing stakeholders to maintain support documentation and relevant details pertaining to marketing-related expenses.
- Financial Planning: Support the monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range planning processes.
- Lead Monthly Accrual Process: Work alongside marketing managers to ensure accurate reporting of spend that reflects on-the-ground reality.
- Host Training and Development Sessions: Serve as the subject matter expert and train a team of Marketing managers from across the region on any process updates or developments related to marketing finance.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Stakeholder management, partner up with finance and marketing teams to ensure oversight of all marketing investments in the region.
- Manage the planning and organization of marketing finance review meetings between EMEA and Global, as well as EMEA and the local marketing teams in EMEA.
- Collaborate with Regional Marketing Operations to review and enhance EMEA marketing operations processes.
What we’ll need from you:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in marketing, with a preference for backgrounds in data collection, project management or marketing operations.
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Relationship Building: Proactively foster strong business partner relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Strategic Thinking: Possess a sharp strategic mindset and the ability to craft and deliver strategic presentations.
- Project Management Skills: Demonstrated experience in overseeing end-to-end projects or programs within marketing, technology, or finance realms.
- Strategic Financial or Accounting Proficiency: Showcase expertise in strategic financial or accounting practices.
- Self-Motivation and Dedication: Capable of working autonomously and resolving challenges independently.
- Passion for Systemization and Process Improvement: Display a strong eagerness for implementing and refining systems and processes.
- Adaptability: Comfortable navigating through a dynamic landscape of content, finance, and accounting matters and projects.
- System knowledge: Advanced familiarity with Google Sheets, Slides, and Docs.
