These services are launched through large-scale marketing campaigns, and the success of these campaigns relies on thorough measurement. That’s where your future team comes in!
The Marketing Data Science team plays a crucial role in making decisions regarding the overall marketing strategy of this globally operating company. Together with three other Measurement Specialists in New York and a Project Manager, you will assess the brand effectiveness of this tech giant.
As the Measurement Specialist within this Marketing Data Science team, your main focus will be on the following areas:
- Measurement Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives and develop a brand lift measurement studies aligned with business goals.
- Measurement Implementation: Gather necessary information for brand lift studies from various stakeholders (such as KPIs, survey questions, experimental design, etc.), consolidate this data into measurement plans, and collaborate with external parties to conduct the tests.
- Data Integrity: Ensure accurate and reliable input through data quality checks, validation processes, and troubleshooting any issues during the setup phase.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teams from different disciplines, including marketing, media, and data science, to gather requirements, communicate issues, and find solutions.
- External Collaboration: Maintain contact with media agencies and representatives from different marketing platforms (DV360, Meta, Snapchat, TikTok) to coordinate the implementation of brand lift studies, provide study requirements guidelines, and resolve any challenges.
- Reporting: Retrieve measurement results from partners and add them to the internal data platform to provide stakeholders with timely and accurate insights into marketing effectiveness, key statistics, and other relevant information.
As the new Measurement Specialist, we require the following from you:
- Degree in marketing, business, data science, or a related field. Relevant certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing operations, or a similar role, with a strong focus on measuring brand effectiveness and/or data analysis.
- Experience with marketing platforms (DV360, Facebook, Snap, TikTok, etc.). Familiarity with brand effectiveness platforms such as Nielsen, Kantar, or similar solutions is a plus.
- Attention to detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate implementation of Brand Lift Studies.
- Collaboration and communication skills to effectively work with teams within the organization and external partners. Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets and effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve measurement-related issues.
- Project management skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment with shifting priorities and evolving business needs.
- Knowledge of the marketing landscape: Understanding of digital marketing channels, brand lift measurement methodologies, and marketing performance metrics.
