This organisation started years ago with the vision to ensure that the correct product information data can be deployed internally and externally. This sounds logical right? However, this is quite complex and in recent years the amount and speed of data has increased considerably. Think of the average retail & e-commerce platforms where a hundred to (100+) thousands of products are sold daily and where data has to be stored in a system, from image material, tech spec, and sales info, in specific chosen language etc.
This platform is leading in this field with high speed and easy integration that can be linked with different channels. This ensures that their customer base is growing rapidly. The beauty of this product is that it is not industry-related and now that digitization has been given an even more push by Corona, it can be a very nice moment to hitch a ride with this growth.
This is an international organisation where it all started 10 years ago as a start-up with a handful of people has now grown to a club of 180 people with 6 offices worldwide. And recently had funding of 50 million to further increase their market share and workforce.

Your role: SDR SaaS Amsterdam

As an SDR SaaS you can help within the Benelux team to continue this growth. You will end up in a sales team of 8 people. The Benelux chapter has been around for several years and are now moving to a new office on the Zuid As. You are the first link in the process in which you will work together with other partners and parties to tackle major projects.
Career technical why is this interesting? You will work with a mature product with a high relevance for Enterprise level customers. This means a lot of demand, quickly reaching your targets in a world where you will learn a lot, also from people who have earned their stripes. This within a culture that looks at your own strengths and motivation. So not that hard sales culture with bad ram call lists and where only call stats are looked at. But working with Sales Force (Salesloft & Sixsense) and the highest quality of tooling to ensure that if you are going to prospect, this is done well prepared. You will also be trained on this, so your product and customer knowledge will quickly be at the highest level.
This can be a very nice step within Tech sales where you can quickly grow your network with Enterprise level customers and have the opportunity to grow into a BDR and AE function, but also international positions (if you find that interesting)!

What is required?

  • 1+ years of sales experience in a Business Development role
  • Ideally worked as an SDR
  • Bachelor or Master degree
  • Affinity with SaaS
  • Curious and eager to learn
  • Like to connect with people
  • Speaks fluent German
  • Software sales experience is a plus
