The Role; Regional Social Media and Performance Planner 

  • There are 3 core Areas you would be focused on within the role—Social Media Planning, Performance Marketing and Analysis

Social Media Planning

  • Design social media strategies across the APAC region, engage freelancers, 3rd parties and other team members to collate insights for better localization of campaigns and engagement.
  • Creating content schedules for teams across APAC to deliver on, working with them to drive inspiration for local content stories and being a leader for support

Performance Marketing

  • Designing paid media to conversion led marketing programs for the company’s clients across APAC
  • Working with local teams in each market to localize ad formats
  • Testing various advertisements, segmentation and retargeting
  • Analysis performance, making adjustments and reporting back to management
  • Using ad tracking software

Analysis

  • Reporting on social media performance across APAC into easily digestible reports for clients and management
  • Developing systems to extract insights from local markets, 3rd party freelancers and reporting back insights
  • Making adjustments in planning, strategy and decisions across APAC region

In addition, you’ll have direct contact with clients, many of these clients are international. It will require some client hosting and building of relationships, which should be great for your development.
 
Your continued learning will be to:

  • Developing excellent creativity and content ideation
  • Develop refined performance marketing methodologies and tactics
  • Utilization of data in optimizing content creation

 

 What would we like you to bring 

  • Up to 7 years in regional social media marketing, with a leadership position for minimum of 3 years managing regional APAC programs
  • Excellent knowledge of the social media landscape, history working with all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, TikTok, Line)
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, presenting to clients, engaging peers
  • Excellent knowledge of European football and other sports (it all helps)
  • Excellent content creation skills, demonstrating a clear understanding of engaging content (Graphics, video)
  • Must speak fluent English, with bonus languages for Thai, Japanese, Malay, Bahasar, Mandarin.
  • Functional Skills Required (Have been using in the past to be able to advise other team members accordingly)
  • Basic design, video editing and copywriting
  • Using social media planning software (ie. Hootsuite)
  • Using analytics tools to understand and optimise content
  • Basic design skills (Photoshop/indesign)
  • Excel
  • Keynote / PPT (preferably Keynote)
