The role: Backend Ad-Ops Engineer
As a Backend Ad-Ops Engineer, you will be working hand in hand & assisting Technical Support Specialists, Technical Account & Account Managers.
Part of a 10-20 member Technical Support team based in Singapore, that services APAC. However, you will be fairly self-reliant, needing to solve problems as efficiently as possible.
As a Backend Ad-Ops Engineer, you will have a mindset focused on crafting solutions to enhance your daily work & those that you support.
This is a replacement role, reporting to European/HQ based Team leader, where you will :
- help to manage complex technical integrations, e.g. integrating with clients APIs in order to fetch data frequently.
- build custom reports for clients – by fetching data from our API & delivering to match client requests.
- manage custom configurations for Technical Support Specialists.
- assist in building web apps to enable both Technical Account and Account Managers to perform their work easier.
Must have requirements:
To be considered as a Backend Ad-Ops Engineer you will need to have:
- 2 years experience in digital marketing/online advertising industry;
- familiarity & knowledge of Linux and Bash;
- be up to date with the latest Ad Tech trends;
- able to start in less than two months;
- applicants need to be already based in Singapore.
Plus points qualifications:
For you to stand out as a Backend Ad-Ops Engineer it would be great if you also have:
- previous experience in building Node.JS applications;
- experience with UI web frameworks (React/SemanticUI/Vue or others);
- experience with SQL databases;
- experience with versioning systems (Git/GitLab);
- experience in retargetting & ecommerce industry
- 3+ years of experience in the digital marketing industry.
